The estimates show that there are more than 74 million dogs in United States of America. Plenty of the pets are with their home owners but many of them are in the homeless shelters. The number has greatly suffered after the recession period of 2008 because many pet owners had left their pets in the home shelters as they didn't find it feasible to feed their pets and feed their family in a proper manner. The rescue to feed their family in a proper manner only came when they submitted their pets to the shelters or to the compounds in their nearby locality. The aftereffects of those decisions had increased the homeless pet's number to an alarming situation.

So the recession have made plenty of people short of cash and plenty of people were out of their basic needs due to the jobs cut and other related affects. We also know that the people's minds were overwhelmed because the banks were putting claims on their mortgages and they were unable to find a suitable work to make their both ends meet. If you are a victim of recession then there are some guidelines that you could follow in order to feed both your family as well as your pets in a proper manner.

For sustaining after the recession you must make your choices clear as what your basic needs are and what are your luxuries. You must cut down you luxury items and stick to your basic needs so that you, your family and your pets are able to survive in that depression. For that you could give up your cable TV, you could also cut down your newspaper expenditures and you could also drop your expenditures on weekend picnic trips etc. then you could also cut down your mortgage payments and use your money only for your family needs and basic essential requirements.
